Stefan Pittner

Executive leader with more than 25 years of IT experience and more than 15 years of leadership experience, connecting IT governance and professional security responsibility with recent AI qualifications. I clarify responsibilities, connect business teams with IT and lead change from decisions through implementation. My experience as an instructor and vocational training lead helps me explain complex topics clearly and equip teams for new responsibilities.

Roles and working arrangements

My priority is an employed role in IT leadership, IT governance, information security or AI management, including opportunities as an IT-Sicherheitsbeauftragter or KI-Beauftragter. These are target roles, not a claim that I have previously held every position. My current search covers Regensburg, Munich and Nuremberg, hybrid roles across Germany and opportunities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Other locations and travel requirements would need to be discussed individually.

Experience and qualifications for company roles

IT leadership: personnel, budget and project responsibility in a software company, IT strategy and operational organisation; most recently team leadership at an energy provider. Instruction and vocational training experience support coaching, team development and change management.
IT governance: transferable experience in clarifying responsibilities, structuring IT service processes and making decisions transparent, supported by ITIL-based practice and project management.
Information security: professional IT security responsibility in public employment administration (2024-2025), with experience in BSI IT-Grundschutz and contingency planning. Methodical knowledge transfer can support security and AI awareness training. ISMS implementation and NIS2 implementation are development areas, not established delivery experience; planned TÜV security qualifications are not yet completed.
AI management: completed AI study and training qualifications. Practice to date comes from study, training and private local AI use, not corporate AI implementation projects.

German: native. English: fluent, including use in international projects. Russian: basic knowledge.

Selected professional experience

Intralogistics company, 2018-2020: developed project management practices using Scrum, Kanban and IPMA, advised management and redesigned internal processes. The employment reference confirms substantial improvements in efficiency and quality of work.
Intralogistics software provider, 2015-2018: managed software projects from requirements analysis through testing, commissioning and customer acceptance, including schedule and budget monitoring. Served as a contact for Scrum and Jira.
Federal authority in the transport sector, 2009-2010: led vocational training for IT specialists in systems integration and advised other public authorities on training matters. The employment reference confirms a substantial improvement in training.

How I work

I clarify requirements, make dependencies visible and connect business teams with IT. Structured questions, clear visualisations and transparent decisions help turn different perspectives into agreed next steps. When teaching, I build on existing knowledge and use practical examples and exercises.

AI qualifications and scope of practice

My completed AI qualifications and planned security training are directed towards operational and strategic responsibility in an employed role. A future employer gains a combination of IT and leadership experience, current subject knowledge and the ability to embed that knowledge in teams.

Master in AI for Business, ENEB Business School, certified by Universidad Internacional Isabel I de Castilla (2025; 1,500 hours / 60 ECTS; final grade 9.7/10). Further training as a KI-Beauftragter at alfatraining (160 teaching units, completed September 2026) and AI Representative with TÜV Rheinland Certified Qualification, PersCert TÜV (issued 30 September 2026; valid until 29 September 2029).

My AI practice to date comes from study, professional development and private applications using local AI. I do not yet have professional experience implementing AI in companies. An AI Transformation Officer role is a development goal, not a position I have previously held.

Project management and vocational qualifications

European Master in Executive Leadership, awarded by IEAD Business School on 1 April 2025. The curriculum comprises Leadership and Organizational Development; Advanced Business Strategy; Corporate Finance and Fintech; Strategic and Digital Marketing; Operations Management and Logistics; Artificial Intelligence and Business Data Analytics; Human Resources and Talent Management; Entrepreneurship and Innovation. This is presented as executive education using the original awarded title, without claiming equivalence to a specific national university degree.

GPM Basiszertifikat im Projektmanagement, PM-ZERT (2012); Scrum Master and Scrum Product Owner, International Scrum Institute (2017); vocational IT Business Management qualification, IHK, DQR/EQF level 6; vocational training qualification, IHK Cologne (2008). The IHK qualification is a vocational qualification, not a university bachelor degree. ENEB programme titles are retained as awarded; no automatic equivalence to a particular national university degree is claimed.

Harvard ManageMentor management development, Certificates of Completion issued by Harvard Business Publishing (April 2025), complements my leadership profile. The 17 completed modules are Leading People, Coaching, Delegating, Team Management, Strategic Thinking, Decision Making, Business Case Development, Performance Measurement, Finance Essentials, Difficult Interactions, Persuading Others, Negotiating, Career Management, Stress Management, Time Management, Customer Focus and Marketing Essentials. These are professional development courses, not a university degree or a teaching certification.

Additional option: freelance teaching

Additional methodological qualification: Diploma in Expertise in Coaching & NLP, certified by Universidad Internacional Isabel I de Castilla (2024; 250 hours / 10 ECTS). This complements my instruction and vocational training experience; it is not presented as a separate trainer certification.

Employment in a company is my main focus. As an additional option, I am open to teaching assignments for education providers and companies: practical project management, introductory AI literacy for the workplace and communicating IT knowledge. Target audience, learning objectives, language, duration and delivery format would be agreed in advance. My vocational training leadership and examination experience provide the foundation for this next step.
